This photo was taken during a early morning walk with my husband along a beach in Los Cabos, Mexico.  The waves that morning were huge and we later found out that there was a tropical storm about 200 miles off the coast.

To answer your question… No he had no idea that the wave was coming.  He just asked me to take his picture by the rocks and to get the water in the background. I snapped the photo and ran.
