A Mexican Fiesta: Three Perfectly Delicious Margaritas

We all LOVE and look forward to Taco Tuesday so I’m declaring we rename Monday “Margarita Monday”.

To celebrate Margarita Monday I’ve made 3 Perfectly Delicious Margaritas.

Shaken Not Stirred Please 🙂

Three Perfectly Delicious Margaritas 

Refreshing Hibiscus Margarita

Ingredients:

The Hibiscus Concentrate:

Makes Concentrate for 4 Margaritas

2 Cups Water

1/4-1/3 Cup Agave Nectar (to taste)

1/2 Cup Dried Hibiscus Flowers

Directions:

Bring the water and agave nectar up to a boil the remove from heat and add 1/2 cup dried Hibiscus Flowers.

Steep the Flowers of for 30 Minutes then strain the mixture into a two cup vessel and chill.

Now for the Margarita…

2 Ounces Silver Tequila

1 Ounce Grand Marnier

6 Ounces Hibiscus Concentrate

2 Ounces Lime Juice

Salt

Directions:

Fill a 8 ounce glass with Ice followed by the Tequila, Grand Mariner, Hibiscus Concentrate, and Lime Juice.  Pour into a shaker and shake vigorously.

Rim the glass with lime juice and dip glass in salt (if desired).

Pour the margarita into a glass and garnish with lime.

My Favorite Pink Grapefruit Margarita

3 ounces Tequila Reposado

2 ounces Cointreau

7 ounces Fresh Grapefruit Juice

1 ounce Lime Juice

Salt

Citrus for Garnish

Directions:

Fill a 8-12 ounce glass with ice.  Add in the Tequila, Cointreau, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, and Lime Juice.  Pour in to a shaker and shake vigorously.

Rim the glass with grapefruit juice and dip glass in salt (if desired).

Strain into a 8-10 ounce stem glass.

Pineapple – Jalapeño Margarita

2 ounces Silver Tequila

1 ounces Grand Marnier

5 Ounces Pineapple Juice

1 Ounce Lime Juice

3/4 Ounce Candied Jalapeño Syrup

1-2 Candied Jalapeños for garnish

Directions:

Fill a 8-12 ounce glass with ice.  Add in the Tequila, Grand Marnier, Pineapple juice, lime juice and candied Jalapeño Syrup.  Pour in to a shaker and shake vigorously.

Strain into a 8-10 ounce glass and garnish with 1-2 candied jalapeños.

  • I’m usually a on the rocks no salt kinda girl… then I discovered this AMAZING Sweet Hawaiian Rock and it makes for the BEST Margaritas.

  • Candied Jalapeños are sometimes referred to as cowboy candy and they are ridiculously addictive. The sweet heat of candied jalapeños also makes a great little party appetizer served with crackers and cream cheese.
